I have noticed a visitor that keeps appearing here on my blog. Never posting, but ever lurking.
This isn't one that I have decided is a bot.
I do believe that I have figured out who it is. No guarantees, but I am fairly sure I know who this mystery visitor is.
If you see this, feel free to introduce yourself. If you do not wish to, I understand. I realize that it is sometimes more comfortable to remain in the shadows with your presence known but not revealed.
Hello, my New York lurker. You are welcome here.

Delurking to finally say hello, and to apologize for being so lurky. I found your site via Flickr and got instantly sucked in by your way with words. You do have a considerable way with words, in spades. :)
I was a bit shy to say hello because I know you've been feeling tender lately, and I didn't know how you'd feel about the acquaintanceship of strange whoosits in New York. Thank you for being so gracious and so welcoming. And happy birthday. I hope the coming year is a vast, vast improvement upon the previous one.
D'oh! Stupid speedy "send"-hitting pinky! I forgot to mention that sometimes I lurk from the office, which is a whole 'nother set of wacky IP addresses. :)
I don't mind the lurking.
I myself am a lurker around places. I like to observe. You learn people's habits by watching.
Thank you.
You are on Joel's flickr, yes? Bakerina, I believe?
I have my moments of tenderness. They come and go. It is normal and thus okay. I have never met anyone living in New York before. And I am always up for new things.
Thank you. I hope that it will be too.
I don't believe your office would have an Atlanta IP, would it? I believe that one has been a bot that pops up.
I have lurked around your pages occasionally. Very lovely baked goods. ^.^
heeee. I would indeed be Bakerina, as seen on Joel's Flickr stream, leaving him smartass comments. Very nice to meet you properly, so to speak. :)
As far as I know, we don't have any Atlanta servers. I think we have a server in Plano, TX and another in Melrose Park, IL. If any bots have the nerve to lurk around here, just let me know, and I'll come after 'em with magnets. ;)
Yes. I thought that was you. Actually I was pretty damn certain that it was. I don't know how anyone else would come around to my blog save by chance.
Smartass comments are always fun. I don't comment much. I have a tendency to lurk more than partake, but I have begun posting more recently.
Yes. Very nice to meet you properly. Well. As properly as this is, anyway. ^.^
And now I know who those two are too. ^.^
Yes. There is an Atlanta IP address that keeps popping up quite a bit, but it is a bot, I have decided.
Magnets can be very fun to play with. ^.~
